Kiersten Boley
Kiersten is a PhD student at The Ohio State University. She received her B.S. in Physics from Georgia Institute of Technology with a minor in German. Originally from a rural town in north Georgia, she grew up gazing at the night sky; however, it wasn't until her junior year in undergrad that she began to pursue astronomy. Currently, she works on planet occurrence trying to determine the metals required for giant planets to form. In the future, she will focus on planet interiors to try and understand how planets evolve. In her free time, she absolutely loves scuba diving, gardening, and dancing.
