Join us for a social media challenge to discover and share papers, interviews, and other work from the Black Space community, amplifying their contributions and showcasing intersectionality
TUESDAY JUNE 20
Join us for two main events:
Black Citizen Scientist Panel: This panel highlights Black citizen scientists & amateur astronomers and their contributions. We'll discuss their work in space science and provide opportunities for others to engage and learn about citizen science.
TIME: 11:00 - 12:30 PM EDTGraduate Student Research Showcase: This event will feature 5-minute research presentations by Black In Astro graduate students, followed by Q&A sessions for the community.

#BuildBlackInSpace: Instrumentation Panel: This panel focuses on instrumentation sciences within Black In Astro, featuring members with experience in various aspects of space-related instrumentation work. It provides insights for those interested in pursuing a career in instrumentation sciences.

Undergraduate Research Showcase - Black In Astro undergraduate students will give a 5-7 minute poster presentation describing their current research project
