Babatunde Akinsanmi
I am from Nigeria and a final year Astronomy PhD student at the University of Porto in Portugal. My research interest is in the field of exoplanets involving the search and characterisation of exoplanets using the transit and radial velocity methods. Particularly, I work on detecting novel exoplanetary features such as rings, tidal deformation and rotation-induced oblateness in exoplanets. I enjoy traveling and photography and hoping to someday get into astrophotography when I am able to live closer to dark skies.
