Amber Lenon
Hi! I’m Amber from Gansevoort, NY! I’m currently a graduate student at Syracuse University. I got my BS in Physics from Syracuse University and my MS in Physics from West Virginia University. I previously started my college experience in visual communications at Cazenovia College, but decided it wasn’t for me and I didn’t enjoy it as much as other classes that challenged me like physics . I started to love Space Science because I enjoyed looking at the stars at night on drives home from soccer games. I started to love physics because of an amazing teacher I had in high school. I currently work in the detection and measuring eccentric gravitational waves in LIGO and Cosmic Explorer. While I love physics I really love working with data and plan on going into data science. On top of physics I’m also extremely passionate about mental health and soccer.
